How To

A matcha latte in the morning has always been one of my favorite ways to start my day! I first discovered the drink via Starbucks; I fell in love with the mix of sweet and bitter that the drink provided, with just the right amount of caffeine. The only thing I love more than a good Starbucks drink, is learning how to make my own at home and save some time and money! I’ve cracked the code and am here to share it with you all :) Sometimes I will mix it up by adding lavender syrup or using Forager’s coconut cashew creamer for a sweet coconut hint. You can also throw some cold foam on top, directions found in my Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai blog! Anyways, let’s get to it:

  • Put 2 scoops of matcha powder into your cup using the provided scooper

  • Slightly submerge the matcha powder with water

  • Using your frother, mix the powder and water until there is no powder left

  • Fill the rest of the cup with Oat Barista, leaving room for ice

  • Stir with a spoon to mix

  • Add preferred amount of ice

  • Enjoy!
